  Water It's necessary to understand the importance of water in our everyday lives. It play's a key role in our body's functions, including bringing nutrients to cells, getting rid of wastes, protecting joints and organs, and maintaining body temperature. A common important function is staying hydrated. Being dehydrated leads to problems with blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature. So how much water should you be consuming daily? Studies show the average male should drink 15.5 cups or 3.7 liters while the average female should consume 11.5 cups or 2.7 liters.

While there are many negative effects, it's important to analyze the benefits as well. Caffeine makes you feel more energized by affecting your brain, while sugar refuels your body's cells and helps keep you physically active for longer. Too much intake of these supplements can lead to many negative consequences. Research shows too much sugar intake is worse than too much caffeine intake. Some negative consequences off too much sugar being weight gain, diabetes, and other common health problems. Problems with too much caffeine being interference with sleep, increase in anxiety, etc... It's very important you know at all times what and how much of something you're putting into your body.

Sleep Explained There's no doubt people do a lot of sleeping in their lives. But how much sleep is healthy, and vice versa? Turns out, a healthy amount of sleep for an adult is anywhere between 7 to 9 hours a night. With that being said, getting less than 7 hours of sleep, and more than 9 hours of sleep would be considered unhealthy. Not only does poor sleep lead to inability to function while performing everyday tasks but it has long term effects as well. Some of these long term effects being increase in chance of dementia, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, cancer, etc... Find a healthy sleeping routine that gives you 7-9 hours a night for full human potential.

  What is a protein? Starting off with the basic scientific definition of a protein, a large complex molecule that plays important roles in the body. So where can you get these proteins? While there are many protein alternatives such as protein powder, it's important you also consume your protein through actual foods. Some of these foods being, fish, seafood, steak and nuts. Why are these essential one may ask? Your body uses amino acids to build and repair muscles and bones to make hormones and enzymes. With that bering said, protein is a very necessary nutrient for your body growth. The average female should consume 45 grams of protein a day, while the average male should consume 55 grams.
